Pink Ribbon Program

Pink Ribbon Program, January 12th - 13th 2013.

Introduction

Offering strength, self-esteem and quality of life to breast cancer survivors. Exercise may be the last thing you feel like doing after breast cancer surgery. You’re probably exhausted, your arm may be painful and swollen, and the adjuvant treatments can make you feel even worse. All you want to do is rest. In the past, that’s exactly what Doctors recommended. However, recent studies indicate a link between moderate physical exercise and improved quality of like for breast cancer sufferers.

We are dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle and positive body image to all breast cancer survivors. "Chris - just a little news update.

The Pink Ribbon Program here in Bolton is creating a lot of interest.
I have a Pilates client who is a radiographer at Christies Manchester who is spreading the word.
My first client has progressed well through the course and has now integrated into regular class - bringing 4 friends/family members with her I might add!
"
Sue B, November 2013

"I had visions of queues of post op ladies all at the same stage wanting to sign up for classes. It has been so different. A series of meetings, connections and introductions. The affiliation with the charity, getting to know some of the group, hosting events and then slowly the business has started to come in. It has been a rewarding journey - I have such admiration and respect for these women."
