Details
Caroline set up Principal Pilates in 2011 after completing training with Modern Pilates as a Pilates Mat Instructor (CYQ Level 3). Caroline is based in South Oxfordshire (Didcot, East Hagbourne and Milton).
She came to Pilates herself via physiotherapy treatment due to problems in pregnancy. Having experienced the benefits herself, she became a firm believer in the rehabilitative qualities of Pilates, bringing increased stability, mobility and strength back to the body.
She previously worked as a scientist in public health research in the UK and overseas for many years. Because of this, Caroline is interested in the evidence around exercise and health, as well as being a hands-on instructor.
She is a keen squash player and uses Pilates to enhance sports performance. Caroline enjoys working with a wide range of clients. She works one day a week in a GP Health Centre working 1-1 with clients. She also uses a range of facial release techniques to improve clients' flexibility which in turn has a profound effect on their movement and body alignment.
