Details
Fiona graduated from Queens College Glasgow in 1981 and has over 35 years experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist. Fiona also trained at The North London School of Sports Massage and qualified with a BTEC level 5 in Sports & Remedial Massage Therapy.
Fiona first worked at The national Spinal Injuries Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital gaining experience in Spinal Injuries and major specialities.
Fiona moved into the private sector where she developed a keen interest in Sports Injuries and Exercise Therapy.
Seeing and understanding the value of exercise Fiona trained with The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) to become one of their certified Pilates Instructors. Fiona is trained in Matwork Pilates, HIT Pilates and Reformer & Cadillac. Fiona has 15 years experience teaching 1:1 Pilates and classes.
Fiona was one of APPI's Presenters and has trained other Physiotherapists and Healthcare Professionals, throughout the UK, the art of teaching effective Pilates.
Fiona has recently developed an interest in Breast Cancer Care and has completed the Mbodies Pink Ribbon Rehab Course and is qualified to teach their Programme.
Fiona combines her experience and knowledge in Physiotherapy, Sports Massage, Exercise Therapy and Pilates to deliver effective treatment programmes for her clients.
