Owner of PhysioCare Holistics and specialist physiotherapist and clinical holistic therapist working in oncology and palliative care. Providing a specialist physiotherapy service for anyone living with cancer, or other life limiting illness. 
 
I work with clients at different stages of the treatment journey, from diagnosis, pre-treatment (prehabilitation), during treatment, post- treatment and palliative care.
 
I may be involved with clients in the following situations:
 
Helping clients to remain as fit and active as possible, maintaining mobility, function and independence.
 
Rehabilitation during and/or after cancer treatment, following surgery, or where there has been a decline in a person's independence. 
 
Helping clients to cope with symptoms such as breathlessness, fatigue and anxiety, and the management of panic.
 
Teaching personalised exercise programmes with the aim of keeping active during and after chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Exercise has many benefits during treatment.
 
Providing advice regarding suitable equipment that may be of help.
 
Providing advice to family and carers on the most appropriate way they can help.
 
Providing specialist massage to relieve tightness and joint restriction following breast surgery or reconstruction, as well as major head and neck surgery.
 
Providing highly specialist advice following a diagnosis of spinal cord compression.
 
To help clients maintain quality of life, general wellbeing and to cope better with symptoms/side effects of treatment using a range of clinical holistic therapies
 
I am also a qualified CanRehab (cancer rehabilitation) Specialist Exercise Instructor, and Pink Ribbon Post Rehab Exercise Specialist, offering 1:1 and group exercise and rehabilitation sessions.
 
I am mobile and work with clients in the comfort of their own home across South Manchester and Cheshire. Alternatively I can see clients at a choice of clinic locations in Wilmslow and Handforth, where I also have access to a private gym space. 
 
Registered with the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) and the HCPC (The Health and Care Professions Council). 
 
Member of ACPOPC (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists working in oncology and Palliative care)
