The online pilates instructor arc barrel course  is a stand alone piece of CPD but is also a component alongside The Step barrel (Spine corrector) and Ladder Barrels which form the Mbodies Full Barrels repertoire bundle.

The arc barrel offers the Pilates Instructor a  wide range of exercises that can target different muscle groups and areas of the body. It can be incorporated into both Pilates Matwork businesses and Apparatus studios alongside other Pilates equipment, such as the reformer, Chair or Cadillac / Tower  to add variety and challenge to your workouts.

Modern Arc barrels can be stored very easily as they nest together in a small footprint making them appropriate for mobilke instructors as well as studio based teaching.

The Arc Barrel CPD Module provides a series of Video based, study in your own time, lessons teaching you over 30 Pilates based exercises on the Arc Barrel (also known as the Baby Arc).   Online learning is supported with access to your own personal tutor.

In order to receive a CPD certificate for this cours the student must already hold a Certification in Pilates or be a registered medical movement practitioner for example a Physiotherapist, Osteopath or Chiropractor.

When this course was taught as a face-to face course it was a one day course.    Students should expect to allocate 6 - 8 hours to learning this material

The cost of this course covers online learning only.   A CPD certificate can be issued when your tutor confirms that they have seen you teaching or performing the repertoire in the course and are happy that you have completed the learning and can teach the repertoire safely.

There are two ways of engaging with your tutor for the tutor to validate your learning

• As you go along
• At the end of your learning

As the time you spend wth your tutor is optional we do not build tutor time spent one on one with you into the course price -  however we do build non specific support for questions and queries via our support portal into the cost of the course.
